设计师 Stephan henrich 设计了一款名为“无限”的全轮海滩和城市自行车原型

meet‘the infinity’bike model by stephan henrich with a‘revolutionary monotyre-clip chain construction’

german designer stephan henrich describes his work as an intersection between architecture, robotics, design, and narration, with a specialization in additive manufacturing or 3D printing. his latest work, dubbed the inifinity’, reinforces that intersectionality; it’s a prototype for an all-wheel beach and city cruiser built around a‘continuous construction element’.

the infinity beach and city cruiser is driven by a revolutionary monotyre clip chain construction that automatically forms a temporary rim in the wheel area and a dented beltdrive in the interior area. this monotyre is propulsed by a central wheel getting its force by a crank over a short chain and a 8-speed gearbox,’explains stephan henrich (see more here).

exploring the possibilities of additive technologies

leading SLS 3D printing solutions company sintratec invited henrich on a webinar back in 2020 to discuss the exciting possibilities of additive technologies and present his all-wheel prototype. while‘the infinitiy’is still a concept at its stage, the designer believes that, with enough money and investment, his bike model can turn into a sellable product for users to ride.
