AMO, the subsidiary research part of OMA, has unveiled the design for bulgari’s fine jewelry show this summer. the presentation took place in one of the iconic landmarks of milan, at galleria vittorio emanuele II. the integration of an oversized sun-like structure in the center of the gallery, manipulates scale and time, creating an encounter between the splendors of fine jewelry and architecture.

the project is led by ellen van loon and giulio margheri conceptualizing the set design and video art direction as an interaction of the lyrical and mechanical. ‘we wanted to create scenes that resonate with the design of fine jewelry, as much as the artisanship behind the scenes.’stated van loon. bulgari’s summer 2021 fine jewelry show marks AMO’s first collaboration with the brand.
