第十一届江苏省园艺博览会主展馆景观设计项目原场地为水泥厂遗址，拥有独特的工业遗产历史记忆。园博会主展馆选址为昆元白、银佳白水泥厂遗址，于2017年入选《南京工业遗产保护名录》。此次设计以“可持续融合”为核心，利用“三链融合”的理念将废弃水泥厂区改造为可持续发展的绿色公共空间。改造设计融合历史工业场所价值链、废弃场地生态链、相关行业产业链，衍生出了多层次交错的信息结构，将历史记忆再生与现代使用需求有机融合。在设计理念和手法的多种创新中，对工业遗址景观复兴后的可持续使用实施路径进行探索。绿色综合体的实施是对该地区历史的致敬，也是对社会发展的有力陈述。
The landscape design of Landscape Design of The 11th Jiangsu Horticultural Exposition’s main pavilion showcases the unique traces of the region’s industrial heritage.The sites of two abandoned cement plants, Kunyuanbai and Yinjiabai, were selected as the main exhibition halls of the Expo because of their unique historical memory of industrial heritage—they were included in the Nanjing Industrial Heritage Protection List in 2017. The renovation’s design is inspired by a multi-layered and interlacing information structure, and the landscape harmoniously integrates the revival of historical memories with the needs of modern utilization. From industrial civilization to ecological civilization, and from unilateral development to ecological harmony, the implementation of this green complex is a tribute to the region’s history, and a powerful statement regarding social development.

江苏省会城市南京，历史上长期作为南方的政治、经济、文化中心，现今是长三角经济圈中的重要城市。江苏省园艺博览会作为提升城市文化和旅游的抓手，第十一届江苏省园艺博览会的举办旨在充分展现城市的集聚效能，引领南京东部地区全面发展。

Nanjing, the capital city of Jiangsu Province, has long been the political, economic, and cultural hub of southern China, and currently, it is a major city in the Yangtze River Delta economic area. As an effective means to enhance urban culture and tourism,The 11th Jiangsu Horticultural Exposition will be hosted in eastern Nanjing and aims to fully demonstrate the city’s efficiency in agglomerating and leading the all-around development.

第十一届江苏省园艺博览会于2021年4月开放，每天平均接待约4万名游客，获得央视、人民日报、新华社等主流媒体的持续关注和报道。
Opened in April 2021, the main pavilion receives an average of approximately 40,000 visitors per day and draws constant attention from mainstream media,including CCTV, People’s Daily and Xinhua News Agency.

主展馆区的景观设计叠加了工业遗址、历史和现代生活，重塑了文化与自然的和谐共生，探索了空间的可持续利用和绿色经济的产业转型。三维空间不再能容纳景观在这片废弃工业场地的肆意生长，唯有叠加“时间”的维度，才能从设计、建造到后续的可持续使用中解答不断出现的困惑，呵护场地全生命周期的生长与复兴。
The landscape design of the main exhibition hall superimposes the industrial site, history, and modern life, reshapes the harmonious coexistence of culture and nature, and explores the sustainable use of space and the industrial transformation of the green economy. The three-dimensional space can no longer accommodate the unregulated landscape growth in this discarded industrial site. Thus, only by superimposing the dimension of “time” can guarantee the growth and rejuvenation of the whole life cycle of the site.

设计以“可持续融合”为核心，重塑历史工业场所价值链、构建废弃场地生态链、延伸相关行业产业链，将场地转化为实现三链协同的可持续聚集地，为废弃的工业遗址注入新活力新生机、提升场所的现代空间价值。景观通过保护、生态修复、可持续再利用的设计手法将工业废墟重生为绿意盎然且充满生机的新型绿色公共空间，赋予水泥厂遗址新生命，开启一段新的篇章。
Centered on “sustainable integration,” the design reshapes the value chain of historical industrial sites, constructs the ecological chain of abandoned sites, and extends the industrial chain of related industries. In addition, it uses the concept of “three-chain integration” to transform discarded cement plants into a sustainable green public space, thus instilling new vitality into abandoned industrial sites and enhancing the modern spatial value of these places. Through the design methods of protection, ecological restoration, and sustainable recycling, the landscape regenerates the industrial remains into a new type of green and vibrant public space, thus bringing new life to the cement plant sites and introducing a new chapter in industrial history.
