本项目是隈研吾事务所与MASU Planning合作设计的全新H.C.安徒生博物馆,该博物馆坐落在安徒生出生的城市中心的花园和Tinderbox文化中心内。博物馆所在场地位于Odense市中心老住宅区和新城区之间,周边围绕着众多中世纪的传统小木屋。

在本项目中,那些著名的童话故事不仅将以书面形式呈现出来,更会通过博物馆和花园的物理空间为人们带来沉浸式的体验和感知。安徒生的作品中蕴含着深刻的哲理,同时也反映了作者的人生和经历。他的作品投射出我们周围对立事物的二元性:真实与想象,自然与人造,人与动物,光明与黑暗……世间的事物并不是非黑即白的,对立事物也是普遍共存的。本项目的设计就是要以建筑和景观的形式来体现安徒生作品的精髓。
Thestoriestobetoldherearenotonlyinwrittenform,butitistobeexperiencedandsensedthroughphysicalspacesinthemuseumandinthegarden.ThereareprofoundmessagesinHCAndersen’swritingthatreflectstheauthor’slifeandhislifetimejourney.Andersen’sworkprojectsthedualityoftheoppositethatsurroundsus;realandimaginary,natureandmanmade,humanandanimal,lightanddark…Theoppositeofthematterscoexist,theyarenotinblackandwhite.Ourarchitecturaldesignistoreflectthisessenceofhisworkinarchitecturalandlandscapeform.

博物馆空间由一系列相切的圆形体量组成,体量之间相互串联,如同一条项链,以无等级、无中心的方式组织在一起。连续的曲面绿墙在场地中延伸,勾勒出地下空间的轮廓,同时界定出地面上的花园和路径。它们在整个场地中蜿蜒曲折,将地上景观与地下空间联系在一起。随着绿墙的出现和消失,游客们会发现室外和室内场景在不经意之间发生了自然地转换。整个博物馆的探索之旅将是带有叙事性的,并呈现出安徒生童话故事作品的元素;相反的二元性,消解的边界,将通过空间的构成和模糊的空间概念得到解读。
Themuseumspacesarecomposedbyaseriesofcircularformsthataretangenttoeachotherlikeachain.Theyareorganizedinnon-hierarchical,non-centricmanner.Thecontinuouscurvelineargreenwallexpandsandtracestheundergroundspacestructureanddefinesthegardenandpathsaboveground.Itmeandersandweavesinandout,aboveandunderthegroundthroughoutthesite.Inthesequenceofintertwinedspacesvisitorswillfindthemselvesinbetweenoutsideandinsideasthegreenwallappearsanddisappears.Thejourneyofthemuseumwouldbethenarrative,theelementsofhiswork;dualityoftheopposite,dissolvingtheboundary,willbereadthroughspatialcompositionandtheambiguity.

展览空间被规划在地下,迷人的地面花园由曲线树篱组成,勾勒出地下展览空间的轮廓。博物馆的参观体验以花园中蜿蜒小径的形式得到了延伸。在这里,建筑的建造形式被削弱,游客将被引入由茂盛树木和树叶创造的“迷宫”般的空间中。地下世界通过一系列下沉庭院与地面花园相连,从地面上看,这些下沉庭院如同一个个“洞穴”,打开了从童话世界到现实世界的“大门”。自然元素与建筑元素的融合造就了这座景观建筑,进而为游客们创造出独特的体验。
Theexhibitionspacesareplannedunderground.Theenchantinggardenabovegroundiscomposedwithcurvelinearhedgethattracestheexhibitionspacesbelow ground.Themeanderingpathsthroughthegardenaretobeexperiencedastheextensionofthemuseum.Herethearchitecturalbuiltformisdiminishedandvisitorswouldbeleadintothe“maze”likespacecreatedbytreesandleaves.Undergroundworldisconnectedtothegardenabovethroughseriesofsunkengardenthatappearslikea“hole”ontheground,“portal”fromfairytaleworldtotheworldoutside.Thelandscapedarchitecture,whereelementsofnaturearemergedwitharchitecturalelements,iswhatwouldmaketheexperienceunique.

建筑的落成也是花园生机的开始,随着时间的推移,丰富的植物将在花园中扎根发芽。在未来的几年里,花园将逐渐趋于成熟,色彩、气味、景观密度,建筑透明度,以及花园风景都将改变,让游客和社区感受到自然的气息与季节的交替。可以说,HC安徒生博物馆将在Odense新城市景观中发挥核心的作用。
Thebuildingcompletionisthebeginningofthelifeofgarden.Itisdesignedtogrowovertimeandsetitsroot.Overtheyearstocome,thegardenwillmature,willofferthevisitorsandthecommunitythesenseofnatureandseasons,changeofcolors,scent,density,transparency,andsceneryinitsgrowth. TheHCAndersen’sMuseumwouldplayacoreroleinnewUrban-scapeofOdensecity.

博物馆的平面规划涉及到一条城市主干道的封闭,其目的旨在将目前割裂的新旧两个城区联系在一起。博物馆花园为城市创造出一处高质量的全新公共空间,为这个处于新旧交界处的地块赋予了“生命”。这个安徒生出生的城市如今仍保留着大量中世纪的城镇景观,街道蜿蜒曲折,与现代城市中宽阔笔直的快车道形成对比。蜿蜒的小径与树篱花园旨在恢复城市中人文尺度的品质,在新旧城区之间形成软性的链接。
Thedevelopmentplanistocloseoffoneofthearterialroadsandreconnecttwopartsofthecity;newandold,whicharecurrentlyseparated.TheGardenofthemuseumistoofferanewqualitypublicarea,givinglifetothis“inbetween”zone.Onepartofthecitywherethebirthhouseofthewriteris,remainsthemedievaltownscapewithsmallandmeanderingstreets,theoppositeofmodernurbandevelopmentwithwideandstraightfastlanes.Themeanderingpathandhedgegardenistobringbackthehumanscalequalitytomakeasoftlinktotheurbanareaofthecity.

疫情为本项目的建造带来了意想不到的挑战,包括工作顺序与计划的改变、采购的困难等等。人们日常活动中所习惯的现实和规范都受到了无形、甚至无理的制约。对建筑师来说,这种过程就如同安徒生的童话世界,需要逃离这种“无形”或学会适应,应对未知。可以说,安徒生故事中所蕴含的哲理直到今天都是很有说服力的。
Duringtheconstructionofthebuilding,wewereputintheuniquesituation,thePandemic.itimposedusallunexpectedchallengesincarryingthework,insequencing,planning,sourcingandsoon.Therealityandnormwewereaccustomedtoindailyactivitieswerequestionedbythecausethatwereintangibleandincomprehensible.ItfelttomeasifwewereexperiencingAndersen’sworldoffairytales,flightingtheinvisibleorlearntoadapt,copewiththeunknow.Hisstoriesspeaktousloudtoday.
